We are taking part in Bird Watch. Mrs Greene showed us the below PowerPoint in assembly. Visit the RSPB website for more information. We will keep you updated with what we find. Mrs Greene showed Nurture a video clip of Garden birds (Chaffinch, Sparrows and Nuthatch) feeding and fighting! Each child chose three wishes from their teacher's marking to improve their writing. See below for Jayden's.

Approaching the bird feeder, the Chaffinch spotted the most fearful bird, a Nuthatch, landing on the ledge! Gracefully, the Chaffinch quietly took a peck of the seeds. Frightened, the Chaffinch was attacked ferociously by the Nuthatch. Striking the Chaffinch, the Nuthatch leapt back on the ledge. Backing off the Chaffinch was worried because he knew there was a battle on his hands. All of a sudden, along came another Nuthatch. Sadly, the Chaffinch got hit again. He fell to the ground. Sadly he stood no chance.
