Back to Church Sunday (Sun 28 Sept), A community Harvest Hog and Barn Dance (Sat 4 Oct), Harvest Thanksgiving (Sun 5 Oct), Remembrance Sunday details (Sun 9 Nov) and a WHOLE Parish event on Remembrance Day itself (Tuesday 11 Nov).   Communication is sometimes tricky so I hope this helps!

This Sunday (28 Sept) is Back to Church Sunday.
If you haven't been to church for a while then this Sunday is a chance to start again.  It would be really lovely to see you especially if it's been a long time.

9.00am: St Mary & St Peter's Church, Tidenham.  Traditional Eucharist service.  Refreshments following.
10.45am: St Luke's Church, Tutshill.  Morning Worship - a not too long modern non communion service.  Splash Junior Church will be running for children.  Refreshments follow the service.  The service has an extra celebration with one couple renewing their marriage vows during the service.
6.00pm: St Michael and All Angels Church, Tidenham Chase.  Book of Common Prayer (1662) Evensong.  This is Chase's Patronal Festival.

5pm Saturday 4 October:  Harvest Pig Roast and Barn Dance:
A WHOLE Parish/Community event bringing us all together
.  All welcome to come for much enjoyment!

Sunday 5 October: Harvest Thanksgiving in the 3 churches

6pm: Tidenham Chase

Remembrance Sunday: 9 November 2014.  Community Remembrance Service.
Procession at 10.30am from Tidenham War Memorial Hall, Tutshill, to St Luke's Church for the remembrance service.

Remembrance Day.  TUESDAY 11 November 2014.  A WHOLE PARISH EVENT.
By kind permission of the Tidenham War Memorial Committee there will be a brief act of remembrance on the Recreation Field, Coleford Road, Tutshill.  We will gather at 10.45am, read out the names of the fallen, play the Last Post, hold 2 minutes silence at 11am, play Reveille, say the Lord's Prayer and leave.  This is a chance for all of us in the Parish to gather
whatever the weather and whatever our religious or political convictions and show our gratitude for the sacrifice made by so many in war, particularly in our locality.

It would be lovely to see you at one or more of these gatherings.

Every blessing
