Goodbye from Mrs G!

Dear Parents and Carers,

This is my final letter to you as a very proud Headteacher of Offa’s Mead Academy.

I would like to thank you for your continued support through all my decisions: new uniform, no parents on the playground, saying no to all those holiday requests, the cursive script and everything in-between! I am sure at times it was with great frustration that you continued to support the Academy under my leadership but I feel privileged also to have worked closely with so many families.

My aim was always to improve things here, from teaching and learning to behaviour to the actual site and I hope you agree I have had some successes. Everything I have done has always been for your kids and I will remember them all fondly. They have been such a big part of my life for over 6 years, I’m not quite sure how I will begin to fill the hole left.

I know I am leaving OMA in a better place than when I arrived and my most important job was always to keep your children safe. Luckily, I have also managed to teach them a few things along the way too! OMA I know will go on to bigger and better things- onwards and upwards I always say. I am just so fiercely proud that I got to play a small part in its journey of improvement.

I will never forget OMA and I wish you all the very best of luck.

Many thanks for your continued support as always

Mrs C Greene
