We are always keen to welcome new children to our safe and happy school.
Please complete the in year admission form at the bottom of this page and email to admin@offasmeadacademy.org to apply for the place. Alternatively, please contact Mrs Clift at the school for further information.
Applying for a primary school place - Admission to Reception 2022 We have produced a virtual open day video and tour of the school available on our home page with a shorter version available here please click on the links below to access these. Applications for admission to Reception 2022 are processed by Gloucestershire County Council. Please refer to their admissions page for further information.

Applying for a school place during the school year
If you move to the area during the school year or your child needs to move school for other reasons you will need to apply for a a place by contacting us directly and by using the forms below.
Reception Children
We are always so happy to welcome children starting school for the first time and understand how important the choice of school is . Offa's Mead is a school full of happy children who learn and grow to be thoughtful, active and responsible in the world. Key dates for Reception 2022 Admissions
From November 2021: Letters sent out explaining how to apply for a school place.
From 3 November 2021 to 15 January 2022: Application window.
Friday 15 January 2022: Closing date for all applications
Thursday 31 March 2022: Closing date for Summer-born deferment requests
Tuesday 19 April 2022: Allocation Day
Tuesday 26 April 2022: Closing date to return reply form accepting the School/Academy place or requesting to be put on waiting list/s
After Tuesday 17 May 2022: Outcome of waiting list requests
Tuesday 24 May 2022: Closing date for return of reply forms
June 2022 to July 2022: Appeals
Applying for a place during the school year
If you move to the area during the school year or your child needs to move school for other reasons, you will need to apply for a school place by contacting us directly using the forms above.
Please note an application is not an in year application if your child is due to start school in Reception in September 2022 for the first time. In this circumstance please refer to Gloucestershire County Council admissions page.
We currently have places available in all classes.
Once the forms has been completed you will need to return the form to school either by post or by email to admin@offasmeadacademy.org
